Follow these instructions to replace your phone number with a new one if needed in your WebTV / MSNTV unit.

1.  To Setup your WebTV / MSNTV with a different dial-up number, you need to make sure your phone line is unplugged from the back of your webtv unit.

2.  Turn on your webtv.

3.  It will bring up a dialog box  "Explain, Options, or Try Again." Select the Options button using your arrow keys on your webtv keyboard. 

4.  On the next screen, select "Use Your Own ISP."

5.  You should be on the settings page with all your settings (User name, password, and phone number). To change the phone number to a new one, you need to delete the number and type in the new one which was provided to you either from calling GlobalNet, or from our webpage. Once you have changed the number, select done to save the changes.

6. Turn off your WebTV / MSNTV unit. Plug the phone cable back in. And you should be all set to connect using the new dial-up number.
